It’s taken a few months but thanks to Sky Atlantic my wife & I have watched ER from start to finish (15 years worth)
I was a fan from the first second, my wife came in about 6 seasons later.
Now she has seen it all, we watched it together.
Tonight we watched the last 2
I don’t know about her, but I felt (feel) a huge loss as the clocked ticked counting down to the last few seconds of ER.
I will miss the ER. I will miss the people , just as I did a few years ago when it really ended.
It’s funny but as they (Sky) are show them all again, I know we will watch again (my wife just asked me if I minded watching them again )
So tomorrow I will go back to the start & see Dr Green Dr Ross &Carters first day in the ER.
I have what is known as ME , a nasty thing that takes away all or just a bit of your energy.
Some people can’t get out of bed on their bad days, some can get through the week, & then just have to rest for the two days off. So they can go back to work.
Up until now I have been one of the lucky ones,I can fight it most of the time as my wife is home, & do I have ‘back- up’ but at the moment she has to spend a lot of her time visiting her Dad in hospital.
Now I am
Feeling the full effects of the M.E it’s kicking my butt so much I’m worried about looking after our little girl for the time my wife is out. I’m lucky tomorrow the kids will be back just after she has to leave. So I’ll keep you posted.
It’s been a while now since my last post, that’s because things have been busy & ,well I just forgot.
Anyway I’m thinking about updating my iPad, ( not that there is anything wrong with my iPad )
I’m thinking I need a bit more memory really. At least 32 g , I would also like a Mac Book ,maybe the Air
But being visually impaired ,I wonder if I should just stick to the iPad which I can use in my hand,& see the screen.
Damn I have to go for now, be back soon.

Funny as hell
Having a bad M.E day today. Just want to curdle up and give the world a miss. Sorry to moan
This is just a short up-date on the iPhone 4s.
Screen size is the same as the iPhone 4 & is very clear. The size of text can be changed to very large, ( which I find very helpful) the camera has been improved.
Siri (the voice control ) has so far worked very well. (although it does need an Internet connection to work)
It will send a text message that is dictated to it, & read it back before sending ( if you wish ) also text messages can be read out as they arrive.
Siri can also be asked to play music that is on the phone, and will even give the weather, by asking things such as ” do I need an umbrella today?”
Is it just me ? Now I’m running Apples ios5 on my iPhone & iPad I can’t update my Facebook status. On either device. I’m thinking there just may be a problem with the App up-date that Facebook launched.
